Coram at SOLUTRANS: An appointment with decarbonization and safety
At SOLUTRANS, we highlighted our direct response to the issues that are reshaping mobility:
- Carbon-free Mobility: With a clear and ambitious Strategic Plan, we are working towards sustainable growth, integrating decarbonization as the foundation of our development in the sector.
- Safety and new regulations: At Coram, every design and development phase is dedicated to creating products for vehicle safety. Meticulous care in processes and validation tests allow us to exceed standards, as confirmed by ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 certifications and the ISO 3834-2:2005 welding certification.
Steering columns and telescopic intermediate shafts at stand C 124
At the fair, we presented two innovations that raise the level of safety and precision for heavy transport:
- SATURN Steering Column: three essential adjustments and a collapse mechanism in case of impact for driver protection.
- iShaft – Telescopic Ball Intermediate Shaft: the high-precision joint that connects the steering column and the steering box, essential for compensating for oscillations in the vehicle’s steering system.
