We are pleased to announce that the photovoltaic systems installed at our headquarters and machining plant are now fully operational — and the results are already exceeding expectations.
Thanks to these investments, we are now able to meet 80% of our total energy needs through clean, renewable solar energy. This important milestone marks a concrete step in our ongoing journey toward environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
A dual installation for a unified goal
The decision to equip both our headquarter in via Chiari in Cologne (BS) and mechanical machining plant in via Creta still in Cologne (BS) with solar panels was guided by a strategic vision: reduce our environmental impact while improving our energy autonomy. By extending the installation across both sites, we’ve maximized the surface area available for energy production and significantly reduced our reliance on traditional power sources.
More than just numbers
This project is about more than just kilowatt-hours. It reflects our belief that companies have a responsibility to innovate not only in terms of products, but also in how they operate. The environmental benefits of this initiative are clear — a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions and a tangible contribution to the global energy transition.
At the same time, the project also brings economic advantages. By generating most of the electricity we consume, we are shielding our operations from future energy price volatility and making our business more resilient and future-ready.

The installation of these solar panels is part of a wider corporate plan aimed at reducing our environmental footprint. In recent years, we’ve implemented several energy-efficiency projects — including the relamping of our facilities — and we continue to explore new ways to operate more sustainably.
