We have obtained the prestigious DHL GoGreen Plus 2025 certificate. This important recognition attests to our tangible commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our global air freight through the strategic adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
Throughout the year, thanks to this low-impact logistics, we have drastically reduced carbon dioxide emissions: it is a fundamental milestone that harmoniously integrates into our corporate ecological transition path, guided by technological innovation and social responsibility.

A concrete step towards reducing CO2 emissions in the automotive sector
Contemporary industrial sustainability cannot be limited to a declaration of intent, but must translate into measurable decisions along the entire supply chain. CORAM Group, which has specialized in the design and production of automotive components and ergonomic, safe steering systems for over sixty years, has taken another step forward in its global ecological journey. Obtaining the DHL GoGreen Plus certificate for 2025 crowns the optimization efforts linked to the air transport of goods and components.
Through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) – an innovative aviation biofuel derived from renewable sources – our international logistics management has recorded exceptional performance. The official data for 2025 highlight the effectiveness of the choices made:
- 2.27 tonnes of CO₂e emissions reduced in absolute terms over the course of the year.
- Emissions 13.19% lower when directly compared to a standard air transport service.
- A 15.2% SAF share stably integrated into all certified air shipments.

SAF green logistics and the strategic vision of Coram Europe
For us at Coram, these promising results do not constitute an isolated achievement. On the contrary, it is a fundamental piece in Coram Europe’s broader mission to integrate eco-compatible solutions across all activities, with the specific goal of reducing the ecological footprint in the automotive sector. For a leading company in the development of steering systems, integrating an eco-friendly supply chain within sustainable auto component production is no longer just an optional choice, but a fundamental competitive pillar and a clear duty of corporate social responsibility.
The planning of SAF green logistics therefore represents the natural extension of the important structural investments already successfully launched in our plants: these notably include the LED relamping of production sites, the installation of photovoltaic systems, and the adoption of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies. With the firm belief that businesses must combat climate change, Coram considers this initiative a concrete step towards increasingly sustainable industrial production.
