CORAM is pleased to announce the launch of TITAN, the brand new Steering Column designed for buses and coaches, which adds to the company’s product range.
TITAN is the adjustable steering column equipped with a pneumatic locking and unlocking system that can be controlled by a button located on the dashboard. This solution ensures that adjustments can be made while keeping both hands on the steering wheel at all times, guaranteeing maximum safety.
The pneumatic cylinder, specially developed by CORAM, ensures a long service life and strong locking capacity. Thanks to this, the steering wheel can be unlocked, adjusted and locked in the desired position easily and effortlessly.
During the development of this product, special attention was paid to improving the ergonomic position of the driver. In fact, the possibility of adjusting the height and inclination of the steering wheel offers greater comfort and safety to drivers.
TITAN: the steering column with advanced functionality
TITAN has a modular system that adapts to different types of in-cab connections and can accommodate sensors, an ignition key lock with steering lock, and lever switches for horn, headlights, turn signals and windscreen wipers.

- A telescopic stroke of 110 mm
