The mechanical caliper ideal as a parking brake
CORAM produces one standard negative mechanical caliper, that is mainly used as a parking brake.
- The brake is mechanically actuated by the boost of the internal springs and it is released through the introduction of hydraulic oil under pressure (normally it is closed).
Hydraulic brake calipers can be mainly installed on off-road vehicles, such as agricultural and construction vehicles.
